I fell in love with this fun yarn from Michael's and I decided to turn it into a very quick and simple cowl! I wrote up the pattern in case you're looking for a fun and fast free knit cowl pattern.
Free Seed Stitch Chunky Cowl Pattern
62 Yards Chunky Boho Loops & Threads Yarn (I used the color Singapore Sling)
Us Size 15 (10mm) straight needles
Gauge: 4" x 4" in seed stitch = 5 stitches x 8 rows
Cast on 12 stitches
Row 1: *Knit 1, Purl 1, *repeat until end of row
Row 2: *Purl 1, Knit 1, *repeat until end of row
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have a piece measuring about 30 inches long. Make sure you have enough yarn left to sew the piece together. Bind off, leave a long tail.
To sew together first put one twist in the piece and then sew the two short edges together with the excess yarn.
Weave in all ends, wear or gift immediately for maximum cute coziness.
If you're looking for other quick chunky knit patterns I've got you covered with Sloughy Leg Warmers, Jumbo Pussyhat, and Cozy Bear Beanie.
