Those of you who have read Small + Friendly for a while now know that I'm not the best housekeeper. To say that I struggle to keep my home tidy would be an understatement. I'm a messy cook and a whirlwind of a maker. Add to that a non-neat-nick husband and two busy little boys and things had really gotten out of hand. I recently reached my breaking point, I was literally on the verge of a nervous breakdown over the clutter and piles of god-knows-what filling our very small home. Last month I downloaded The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo and since then I have been spending all of my free time purging my home. I still have a way to go, but the results are encouraging to say the least. Visit Mom.me to read more.
I'd love to know, have you read it? What did you think? I've got high hopes for a lasting effect, but only time will tell.
