Jude and I were listening to "My Girl" by the Temptations.  I told Jude, "This is a great song, it's a good one to know if you like a girl.  Do you like any girls?"  He replied, "No Mom, I only like you."  And gave me a huge hug.  Sometimes little boys know just what to say to make their mama's day.  I couldn't possibly love him more.    

Newsflash: Clarks are cute!

I'll admit it, before I had a chance to check out the Clarks Store on Zappos, I thought they made shoes that were very comfortable but not very cute.  Boy was I wrong!  Well, actually I was only half wrong.  They do make supremely comfortable shoes, that also happen to be totally fashionable.  No joke, just check out these boots.  

These are the perfect fall boots and after years of purchasing cheapo boots I am thrilled to have a pair that is sure to last for many seasons.  I love that these are on trend without being trendy.  I struggle to splurge on clothes and accessories for myself, but it makes so much more sense to invest in high-quality classic pieces.  It's not like I'm going to grow out of my shoes for goodness sake!

Okay, so it gets even better.  I don't wear heels very often for a few reasons.  The first one being that I am already almost six feet tall.  That's right I'm a giant.  But in all honesty I like being tall, I'm proud of it and, of course, who doesn't like how heels make their legs look?  So the real reason you will find me mostly in flats is because I really hate being uncomfortable.  Heels are for "dress-up" because who needs sore feet from a trip to Target?  Clarks has changed all that for me.  

You guys, now I can be one of those stylish moms who rocks heels in the produce aisle!  Seriously, these might even be more comfortable than the boots.  And they are so versatile!  They look cute with a skirt, jeans, and tights.  How bad do I need a pair of ombre tights?  Bad.

Now the thing I like most is that you can get these and lots of other cute styles from Zappos.com.  I have been shopping on Zappos for what feels like forever.  I love that they offer free shipping and free returns.  It takes the guess work out of online shopping.  I also find the reviews on Zappos really helpful in finding the right fit.  Plus, they often have a much better price than other retailers.  Oh, and with my height comes large feet and Zappos is a great place to find those larger sizes.
