Looking for another simple felt craft? I'm your gal! This was a big hit on our recent road trip, although I'm not sure who had more fun, Jude or I.
Here's how to make your own:
1. Cut a piece of cardboard (9 1/2" x 12 1/4") and apply a piece of craft felt to it with spray adhesive. (I tried other glues with minimal success, I highly recommend spray adhesive for the best results.)
2. While that dries, cut out a bunch of shapes in many colors. (I got fancy and used the pinking shears on a few.)
3. Stick the felt shapes in a bag or box, and you're ready for some felt board fun on the go!
Jude has recently been irritated by drawing because he can't create the exact image he has in his mind. The felt shapes allow him to create fire trucks, flowers, faces, etc. with minimal frustration. (I did the scene above while he was napping, just in case you thought he was some sort of two year old Matisse.)
Here's to fast felt fun! Happy Crafting!
