Where does the time go? Didn't Jude just turn one? How could we be half-way to two already? Each day he learns a new word, masters a new task, finds a new way to make us laugh.
His favorite activities include drawing, swimming, and playing with Dad.
His favorite foods are blueberries and strawberries (picked fresh from the garden: ripeness optional).
I am so proud of his sweet, adventurous, independent spirit.
He said his first sentence recently: "I did it!"
And ... he has made it to the potty on more than one occasion! With each passing month I think to myself, this is my favorite age - it turns out that it doesn't matter how many months Jude has been on this earth, he is my favorite!
The past 18 months have been the most challenging, exciting, life altering, and fulfilling months of my life. Here's to half birthdays celebrated with whole hearts!
