Okay, first things first: if you are a mother or grandmother of mine, please stop reading.
Now, anybody looking to whip up some beautiful handmade Mother's Day cards, please read on.
After seeing this ruling Easter card on urban craft I decided that Jude and I should collaborate to create cards for the mothers in our lives. We walked to our local art store (Village Art Supply, which is awesome by the way) and picked up finger paint, butcher paper, colorful card stock, and envelopes. Then the artist got to work.
Once the masterpiece had dried, I traced heart shapes around some of the extra pretty bits, glued them to the folded card stock, and viola! Homemade and heartfelt, what more could a mother want?
Well, I can think of a few things - but I'm pretty sure these are going to be a hit.
