In honor of Celebrate the Boy, I made Jude his own "man chair", one that would fit his modern-minimalist style. I'm calling it the mini-lounger.
This was a seriously budget friendly project. I sewed the cover with clearance IKEA fabric ($2/yard), added a velcro closure at the back ($1), stuffed it with an old mattress topper (free), and my husband made a very simple frame for the back out of PVC pipe and fittings ($2). Now Jude has the perfect place to put his feet up after a long day.

P.S. - If you're tired of mere glimpses of his room, the wait is almost over. I finally took pictures of the whole nursery, and I will be posting them very soon.
