Skelly is a sock skeleton. He's a little shy, loves to climb trees, and despite his lack of ears, he's a surprisingly good listener.
I saw this craft on MARTHA last year and I thought, "I can't wait to make this next year for the little goblin kicking me in the ribs." It was very simple to make and a lot of fun. I love how the finished product has so much personality. Want to make your own? Click here for the how-to guide.
Now, I must admit that I was a little nervous to introduce Jude to Skelly after the soft block rejection. Luckily, Skelly was a hit from the start. Check out the first encounter:
To keep things interesting (dare I say, tricky) I perch him in a different spot each night. I love how Jude's face lights up when he finds him in the morning. Finally! I made a toy he likes. Thanks, Martha!
