With inspiration and a tutorial from Rachel at Smile and Wave, I set out to make Jude his very own set of soft blocks. I worked super hard on them. I appliqued felt letters to spell out his name. I used really cute fabric. I even put little jingle bells in them. They took me quite a while to make, what with the cutting, appliqueing, sewing, and stuffing all spread out in 10 minute increments (when I actually had 10 minutes.) Look at how cute they turned out:
Jude seemed really interested in them while I was working on them. So imagine my surprise when this was his reaction:
Harsh times. I keep trying to interest him in them, but he would much rather chew on a tupperware lid. Oh well, you win some, you lose some, right? I've got lots more baby toy crafts up my sleeve, and he's bound to like one of them.
