Hi! My name is Carla. I live in a small house on a friendly street in beautiful Northern California. I share my happy life with an awesome husband (Jason), sweet little boy (Jude), one cat, and assorted chickens. This blog is a place for me to share my adventures in crafting, cooking, gardening, mothering, decorating, and more. I am a modern homemaker: someone who works hard to craft a home by hand, raise a family in a mindful way, and be a good steward to the earth. That said: I also work part-time, wad up fitted sheets, and "let" my husband scrub the toilet.
